Just a Few Quick Things About Myself…

My Profile Picture

Hi! My name is Ui Kiat and I am a writer, from a schooling background of History and English Literature, and with a personal interest in Divinity, Psychology and Linguistics. I write from the foundation of my Western Christian and Singaporean Min-Chinese roots, to the end that I may help preserve and develop our local ethno-religious heritage, build a harmonious society and, in doing so, inspire people to achieve lives of perfect humility.

Peace be with you,
Gabriel Ng Ui Kiat

Fresh perspectives on everyday life!

This is where I blog about my thoughts
on just about anything I find interesting.
Writing often keeps my mind sharp,
so this is something I do to find clarity.

New entries every other week!

Songs straight from my heart!

This is where I post my original songs.
Just my voice and my guitar and me.
Song writing and performing music are my
main hobbies and a core part of who I am.

Here for your entertainment!

United in word and deed!

This is where I keep my soft copy of the
Methodist form of Common Prayer,
“The Sunday Service (1784)”, for my personal,
individual, as well as communal use.
Incorporating traditional order in my daily prayer
roots my faith in the liturgy of ages past,
forward into the age to come.

Pray together to stay together!

A life committed to excellence!

This is a where I keep a soft copy
of my personal résumé.
If you know of any projects, that I would be
interested in getting involved in,
then please invite me along too.

Let me know how I can help!

Always happy to meet new people!

every piece of encouragement and feedback.

My Jesus

His strength flows in gentleness,
With affection in his fiery eyes.
With each touch he comforts
And with every word he heals.

He raises those who are cast away
And gathers the orphans home.
He welcomes the weak, heals the sick
And eats at the sinner’s table.

He reaches out and brings forth life.
He makes every dark sky beautiful,
Making past pains fade away
and the brokenhearted whole.

He inspires the music of the soul
And the strength of the will to stand.
He is love and love is he;
He is like no other man.
